Noise annoyance, especially traffic noise in urban networks, is increasingly growing a problem. In this study the possibilities are investigated of modifying route choice of traffic in urban networks, in order to meet the standards for noise annoyance. The model developed is based on the equilibrium assignment theory and extended with some constraints.
