Samenvatting

This paper reports an evaluation of aerial surveillance of traffic speeds carried out in New South Wales from December 1986 to March 1987. It was concluded that traffic speeds had been reduced by a small amount while the aerial surveillance program had been active, and that while aerial surveillance was active at a site, speeds were reduced in the marked zone and could be reduced for some distance downstream.
