Results of a study of the effects of commercial vehicles on intersection delay are reported. The objective was to determine the delay effect of commercial vehicles on through traffic at signalized intersections and to determine the effect of intersection corner radii on right- turning speeds of commercial vehicles. Form a delay viewpoint, a 30 foot radius was found to be optimum for a single-unit truck and a 60 foot radius was found optimum for a truck combination.
