Samenvatting
This study examined the effects various types of edgemarking have on the lateral pavement of vehicles on a typical straight section of rural highway of nominal seal width 22ft. The study did show that there was a significant shift of passenger cars towards the centreline of the road at night compared to day irrespective of edgemarking and that there were differences between the lateral placement of passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
