Samenvatting
This article summarises a report in Swedish with the same title, comparing the rate of accidents before and after a new Swedish law requiring winter tyres to be fitted to road vehicles between December and March. A steep reduction in personal injury accidents was found and also a reduction in the number of accidents with different degrees of severity in all road conditions.
