In the present literature-study, a review is presented of the most important of the mind, which may impair the ability to perform tasks. In an introduction, the most important aspects of psychopharmacology are presented, such as the neuronal signal processing in the central nerve system, which forms the mechanism of psycho-active substances. Also the intake and excretion are discussed, and the metabolic processes that take place. Furthermore the information processing system is discussed in relation with task execution in general and the traffic-driving-task in particular. Some legal aspects are discussed, especially for alcohol, which is extensively described in the law. The following groups of substances are presented and discussed: ./.F3
