Samenvatting
In 1997 the rapid tram will drive on the ring-railroad around Amsterdam. This paper discusses the exploitation of this new public transport system. Use is made of data of the GENMOD-model which is applied to the traffic and transport plan in the Amsterdam regio. The number of passengers, the journey kilometers, the average journey time and the factor capacity are taken into account. The quality of the options available to change transport modes is very important.
