How did they build bridges to tap into the reservoir of expertise and knowledge yet still maintain a focus on the mission of the organization? How did they manage to bridge the perspective gap between their needs, goals, and mission and those of their partners? What are the advantages and disadvantages of maintaining these partnerships? How did these programs manage to strike a balance that maximize benefits and minimize disadvantages? The product of this paper will be a synthesis of what managers of these programs attest as successful strategies and models that had made possible the conception of enabling programs.
