Samenvatting
A research was undertaken to evaluate the cost- benefits of arterial lighting treatments in terms of traffic safety and energy use. As a result a Design Guide has been developed which provides instructions for using a computer program to determine visibility on arterial streets and a method for conducting a cost-benefit analysis of new and upgraded lighting systems.
