Samenvatting

Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that a moderate blood alcohol level of 0.5%- to 10% will significantly impair performance of a simple driving task. It also was shown that performance differed as a function of ascending or descending blood alcohol levels. The descending alcohol session showed a marked reduction in total errors, although both alcohol sessions showed more errors of judgment than diel normal sessions.
