Samenvatting

This paper reports on a study designed to investigate the effects of alcohol on driver decision making and risk taking. It has been a commonly held belief that alcohol makes drivers more willing to take risks and less cautious in their decision making. Anecdotal evidence points to drivers under the influence of alcohol running red lights, speeding, and generally driving in a reckless manner.
