Samenvatting
The purpose of this study was to eliminate the central side-effects of astemizole, if any, on real driving behaviour and psychomotor performance in healthy volunteers after repeated dosage of the drug. It is concluded that subchronic use of astimizole in a dosage regimen 10 mg t.i.d. for seven days followed by 10 mg daily for three days has no detrimental effect on actual car driving and psychomotor performance in the tests.
