Samenvatting
In 1979 the municipality of Delft developed a masterplan for a bicycle network covering the whole city. The Ministry of Transport and Public Works decided to subsidize this plan, in order to obtain know- how about the effect of bicycle networks on bicycle use and safety. Before- studies were carried out in 1982 and 1983, the after- studies in 1985 and 1986. Results of these studies are published in separate reports. This paper presents the results of the overall evaluation of this project.
