This publication reports on a questionnaire study (referred in this article as the Total Study) directed at all people at the stops of the Green Mover streetcar and a questionnaire study (referred to as the Wheelchair User Study) directed at a particular group of people consisting of wheelchair users. Both studies refer to a location system providing information on the internet about the operation of the ultra-low floor streetcar Green Mover, a form of public transport that can be easily accessed also by wheelchair users. This paper also discusses the efforts that are being made to offer this service and the effect this service has. The Total Study has demonstrated that this information service would have a great effect in terms of reducing waiting time and lessening irritation while waiting. Waiting time for streetcars can be reduced by an average of 2.8 minutes by using the Roden Navi System. The Wheelchair Study has shown a much similar result although it can only be used as a reference because of the small number of respondents. Yet, the waiting time was reduced by an average of about 8 minutes when using the Roden Navi System. For the covering abstract see ITRD E209471.
