Samenvatting
A characterization method is described which is based on photometric quantities in describing the reflection properties of the road surface with an accuracy not yet reached for such characterization. To simplify the application of the method the road surfaces are divided into 4 classes consisting o 2 sub-classes each. Standard reflexion diagrams are constructed wich are representative for the surfaces in the 8 sub-classes.
