Samenvatting
The EB 42n in the Königswinter area, an expressway through a tunnel with a cover slit down the middle, represents a completely new design in West- Germany. In order to clarify the environmental burden that may result from such construction, a series of measurements were taken to investigate exhaust emission in and outside the tunnel. Measurements reveal that in both cases exhaust emissions are very small.
