Samenvatting
At Eindhoven University of Technology a multi-disciplinary team of chemical electrical and mechanical engineers are collaborating on construction of an electric commuter car or van. A VW-Golf which concept appears to be very suitable for this purpose, has been electrified. Car-body and rear suspension are modified thus that a rapidly exchangeable battery pack could be places in a central box.
