Samenvatting
The influence of various types of speed controls upon the actually driver speeds was studied. For this reason the speed of a total of 1367 four-wheel vehicles was measured at six sites with a speed limit of 50 kph. The measurements were made in part with well concealed radar devices and with a light barrier measuring device, unseen by the driver. The five different types of measuring conditions had significant influence upon the speeds driven.
