Samenvatting
During 1971-1974 a total of 1430 fatal accidents in Finland were investigated. Those accidents involved 5-235 persons and 2224 vehicles. A total of 1952 direct causes were registered in the 1430 accidents, i. e. 1 . 37 causes per accident 80% of all accidents were caused by human factors, 11% by vehicle circumstances and 9% of factors from the environment.
