Samenvatting
The influence of access roads on traffic safety was studied by theories, practical measurements and an accident data investigation. A theoretical model gives information on the hindrance probability, speed measurements show the independence of speed on the access concentration, and accident data were evaluated. The results of these studies were concentrated in a theory which the influence of access roads describes.
