Samenvatting
This report considers the ways in which electronic aids could be used to improve traffic performance and condition on freeways. Some details types of detectors, data transmission, means communication and methods of control are given. Complete control systems are described briefly. The possibility for research into the effects of the use of electronic aids are discussed.
