Samenvatting
Franca, a Brazilian city with 280,000 inhabitants, began a programme of reorganizing the public transportation system, based on electronic ticketing and the integration of the bus lines by controlling the time. The aim is to capacitate the management department to supervise the integrated system, incorporating the handicapped, and developing the non-motorized means of transportation. This paper presents the nine projects of the programme and the implementation stages.
