Samenvatting

The notion of emotion is increasingly used in the design of computer interfaces to improve Human Computer Interactions (HCI). Emotions are a determinant of driver's decision making. A conceptual framework is proposed which uses technology to instrument those emotions required to assist the driver's task. This paper bridges the gap between research on emotional design and driver behaviour models with a view to design advanced in-vehicle assistance systems. For the covering abstract see ITRD E134653.
