Samenvatting
The aim of this project is to develop a conflict technique for the determination of risk. The basic hypothesis is that there is a definite relationship between conflicts with a certain degree of seriousness and accidents. Analysis shows that the kind of drivers and the speed standard type of intersections have a definite influence. The developed technique offers practical application to before and after studies to establish the effect on traffic safety of countermeasures.
