Samenvatting
In order of the Dutch SWOV Institute for Road Safety Research a study has been carried out in June and October 1994 of the evaluation of the effects of police surveillance on driving to fast in the province of Friesland. Drivers were asked to give their experiences of this surveillance by using a questionnaire. About 80 percent of the respondents considered the surveillance as useful, and about 70 percent of them said they would not to drive too fast anymore.
