This thesis deals with the epileptic patient as a driver of a motor vehicle. It commences with a study of the literature. The question of whether or not to permit the patient to drive a motor vehicle emerges from the literature as a true dilemma. An alternative optimal model is discussed for the selection of epileptic patients for participation in motorized traffic.
