The paper contains a theoretical study of the distribution between private and public transportation of persons using a one-way axis. A comparison of behaviour of persons wishing to use the route under allowable conditions of flow leads to a traffic equilibrium, variable with time. The author obtains the conditions necessary for the existence of an equilibrium, and shows how the equilibrium values can be obtained. In particular he studies two types of parking, either at the city center or at the limit between the city center and the suburb. The model which is developed furnished several elements for economic comparison of variants in the urban transportation infrastructure. /Author/.
