Samenvatting
The urban infrastructures in the Federal Republic of Germany are still relatively young, and on the whole in good condition. But too little is being done for their renewal, and their age structure together with increasing urban ecological demands mean a growing need for renewal. This paper discusses four approaches which together can predict the extent of this future need for renewal.
