Samenvatting
Practical experiences gained with the application of noise criteria between 1975 and 1978 in eight Dutch towns are reviewed. The survey was carried out by two bureaus. The idea was to catalogue experiences by making surveys and conducting interviews; the results show that it is fairly difficult to determine the influence of noise standards on methodology, urban design and cost.
