Conflict observation techniques get much interest. A quick estimation of the hazardousness of possible accident locations seem to be possible. All that is needed are well trained observators. A rapid evaluation of remedial traffic engineering measures also is possible by doing so. The author had some field-experiments with this technique. In this paper is especially dealt with the techniques for systematic location research.
