Anticipating on the new Dutch traffic regulations the legislation of the "woonerf" was adapted and been operative par July, 1988. The main reason for these modifications were the evaluation of the "woonerf" regulation and the applica- tion and other developments in the field of reconstruction and reclassification of roads and streets. This record sets out the differences between the old and new regulations.
