Samenvatting
This paper describes the A10-WEST coordinated ramp-metering project, part of the DRIVE II project EUROCOR. It deals with the feasibility phase, in which two simulation studies were conducted. These studies encouraged to install 4 on-ramp installations and to investigate seven different strategies. The implementation phase is not yet complete after encountering some problems. A brief description is given of the different control strategies that are assessed. Brief details of the first results of the assessment are also provided. (A)
