Samenvatting
Prevention strategies for work-related illnesses and injuries among employees are discussed at the congress on European research approaches for the human centered design of work for drivers in public urban transport systems, held in Dortmund on 17th-18th May 1993. In this conference report an account is given of three workshops, focusing on technical innovation, occupational medicine and organizational development/personnel management in the urban public transport sector.
