Samenvatting
The European Transport Safety Council (ETSC) welcomes the European Parliament own initiative report on road safety. This is a timely response to the European Commissions’ “Towards a European Road Safety Area: policy orientations on road safety 2011-2020” Communication published in July 2010 and the “Road Safety Council Conclusions” of the December 2010 Transport Council of Ministers. This briefing provides a summary of ETSC’s most important input to the European Parliament’s report. (Author/publisher)
