Samenvatting
An attempt is made to analyse and forecast long distance passenger travel in Europe under different hypotheses of future transport supply development. It concerns with description and analysis of the intercity transport system; analysis of factors affecting future demand; analysis of possible new modes and improvement to existing services; formulation of possible European transport strategies.
