An overview is presented of a study which will be carried out to evaluate the 30 Im/hour speed limit in urban areas. Fifteen experimental areas, were selected on account of their size, regional dispersion, structure, buildings, activities or applied measures. Different aspects as traffic. traffic behaviour, accidents and the experience of traffic and traffic safety are tal(en in-to account. The set-up and the api)roach of the study are described.
