Evaluatie van de effecten van herindelingsmaatregelen in Eindhoven en Rijswijk : rapportage over de voorperiode van het Demonstratieproject Herindeling en herinrichting van stedelijke gebieden, in de gemeenten Eindhoven en Rijswijk + Bijlagen.

The evaluation study as described in this report is a part of the traffic safety research in the demonstration project redivision and reconstruction of urban areas. The demonstration projects have the aim amongst others to research the effects on traffic safety of three different forms of reconstruction of residential areas. These three forms of reconstruction are taking place in rijswijk and eindhoven. Besides the measurement of the effects by means of a before and after study the author also suggests an explanation of the observed effects. The evaluation study will establish the effects of the reconstruction measures on traffic safety in terms of modifications in the number of accident victims and accidents. The set up of the study is described and some results of the before study are presented.
