The Plantagebaan is a tertiary road with much through traffic exceeding speed. After the construction of cycle tracks along the road the whole road was redesigned and reconstructed. An evaluation is given of the effects of this reconstruction. The reconstruction has led to less speed, has had no influence on parking and has increased the traffic intensity.
