Roadshow was staged at 23 venues throughout New Zealand in 1983 and was seen by 250000 secondary pupils and 20000 adults. Its success in changing attitudes of young people to road safety and the subsequent reduction in injury accidents in the 15- 19 age group exposed to roadshow, has encouraged the planning for the 1986 New Zealand tour of roadshow and international tours, starting in Australia in August 1984.
