Evaluation and modification of the traffic noise prediction procedure for Kentucky highways. Paper prepared for the 54th Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board TRB, Washington, D.C., January 1975.

Approximately 270 noise-level recordings were obtained at 39 highway sites and compared with the noise-level prediction method outlined in NCHRP report 117 (See A 9437). Based on the findings, the monograph was approved by the Federal Highway Administration for use in predicting noise levels in Kentucky.
