Samenvatting

Information technology has enabled travel time information to be provided at many places. However, how the traffic condition changes according to information is hard to evaluate because many vehicles that do not benefit by receiving information are running on the road network. What is needed first to evaluate the effects of information is to pick up the number of vehicles that relate to the information provided. This paper attempts to utilise the realtime origin-destination estimation method to pick up the path traffic volumes that relate to the information. From the estimation results, the relationship between information and path choice probability is discussed. The results show that the path traffic volume may change according to the information.
