Samenvatting

Special safety belt systems were installed in cars. The important feature was an interlock device which prevented the starting motor from operating oplees the belts were fastened. Also a flashing light or a bueser were sometimes added. The results of this test are indicative that most drivers would accept or even welcome a device in their vehicles that would clearly remind them to fasten their safety belts.
