Evaluation of traffic restraints at urban centres by quantitative modelling.

A good criterion for evaluating the performance of a particular traffic restraint technique is the determination of overall benefits it contributes to five items. One restraint technique is optimal if it yields maximum benefits among all candidate techniques. The benefit as the objective function to measure the effectiveness of three different restraint techniques is described.
