Samenvatting

The concept of traffic conflicts is based on the idea that driver behaviour will lead to visually observable evidence of abnormal vehicular actions. These observable actions can be recorded as a conflict and can be categorized by certain subjective as well as objective classifications. This study was designed to evaluate the potential of using traffic conflicts for diagnostic evaluation of specific geometric and traffic control features at intersections.
