Samenvatting
A survey is made of the development in car tyre, with special emphasis on the advantages of the radial ply tyre as compared with the conventional (diagonal ply) tyre. Improvements in performance of tyres under conditions of high speeds, and improvements in its adherence to wet as well as dry road are stressed.
