Intersection capacity charts of the 1965 Highway Capacity Manual have been analysed for consistency, giving major emphasis to actual versus expected differences in results when changes are made in parking conditions and in width of approach for one-way and two-way operations. Comparisons are also made with methods for computing capacity as developed in Great Britain and Australia.
