Samenvatting
For some years a working group has been studying the problems of exclusive traffic lanes for buses and/or trams in urban areas as well as in rural areas. Criteria for application, possible layouts for traffic engineering and the joint use of other transport modes are discussed shortly. In particular the possibilities for preferential treatment of public transport by means of a traffic signal installation is discussed.
