Samenvatting

This article is part two of a three part series that presents information on 162 older adults (aged 60 and older) who participated in a survey about their driving. These adults all ceased their driving due to visual impairments. This part describes how not driving affected their emotions, their experiences with drivers, their use and the availability of different types of transportation, and how the subjects use transportation to perform daily activities. It was interesting to note how the subjects' feelings and emotions changed with the passage of time. (Author/publisher)
