Samenvatting
The experiment is set up to investigate whether the tactile guidestrips can improve the mobility in traffic of the blind and the partially sighted in general, and in complex traffic situations(for example at intersections) in particular. The first part of the experiment has been realised and put into operation on November 2, 1982.It consists of a guidestrip leading from the Apeldoorn railway station to a busstation. The second part of the experiment will be an extension of the guidestrip at the platform of the railway station.
