Samenvatting

Effect of three hours training on a British shadowgraph simulator was investigated by a paired group test. Assessment was by hours of instruction time required to pass the driving test. Statistical evaluation of results showed that including simulator time no significant difference between the groups was established. Excluding this time significant less time was needed for the men only in the simulator group. Positive correlation between age and instruction time was confirmed. Interview by questionnaire shows favourable acceptance of the simulator.
